In today's video, I visited cross river state, a state once considered the tourism capital of Nigeria, known for having the biggest street party in Africa, the highest-paid mountain race, the popular Obudu cattle Ranch, and the Tinapa Business and leisure resort. Fast forward to 2022, the town is now an abandoned city mainly due to corruption and lack of vision. In today's video, we toured the city and asked questions about why the tourism capital of Nigeria is fading.

Lagos, the biggest metropolis in Nigeria, stretches over Lagos Lagoon and inland from the Gulf of Guinea. Victoria Island, the city's financial hub, is renowned for its beach resorts, shops, and nightlife. The National Museum Lagos is located on Lagos Island and has a collection of antiques and handicrafts from various cultures. Freedom Park, formerly a jail from the colonial era and now a significant location for public events and concerts, is close by.
Nigeria hosted the 4th edition of ‘Door of Return’ festival las week, a symbolic annual event where diasporans of African descent were received through the same route that their forefathers were shipped from Africa as slaves.
