Grace Wetzel, a junior at St. Lawrence University, explains the phenomenon known as the orgasm gap and explores the straight woman's sexual experience. Grace Wetzel is a junior at St. Lawrence University with a Psychology major, a Biology Minor, and a Gender & Sexuality Studies Minor. She is a member of the ODK Leadership Honor Society and of Psi Chi, the Honor Society in Psychology. She is a member of two dance groups on campus, Dance Ensemble and Graceful Movements, and is a house member of the Women's Resource Center. Grace has a passion for intersectional feminism and social justice. Her long-term dream is to change the stigmas and inequalities surrounding the female sexual experience. Topping pepper plants is a topic of much debate, with some growers saying it's a fantastic way to boost production, and others saying it's not necessary at all. So, who's right? As with most things in gardening, IT DEPENDS!

Pruning peppers removes top growth to promote more branching and bushiness. By doing this, you sacrifice your earliest peppers in favor of growing more vegetation and a sturdier plant, which can then lend itself to more flower and pepper production later on down the road.

I prefer to top lanky plants to bush them out myself, especially if I'm still early in the season with plenty of time to let those peppers produce. On larger peppers like bells or banana peppers, I let them be - it doesn't seem to do much besides slow down production.

Immigration looked very different before 1996, when President Bill Clinton signed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA). The law was supposed to stop undocumented immigration by increasing enforcement and punishing people for being in the US undocumented. There’s nothing more special than bonding with your pet parrot especially when you learn how to teach your parrot to talk! If you’ve ever heard a parrot talk, you know it’s a pretty spectacular trick. Teaching a parrot to talk takes patience, a perch, and a lot of tasty treats. The types of birds that are known for talking are macaws, african grey parrots, cockatiels, and cockatoos. Although most pet birds are capable of mimicking sounds or vocalizing, most of the time it’s the big birds that tend to be more likely to talk. If you want to learn how to teach parrots to talk, just know that not all pet birds are prone to talking. Birds are all unique, just like people. Some pet birds are super social and tend to be on the chatty side. Other types of birds can be a little more shy. Even birds within the same species can be different. So if you’re wondering “Can a parrot talk?” the answer is...It depends! But whether you have a super social macaw or a cockatiel on the quieter side, it’s probably best not to force your birds to talk. Those videos of parrots talking seem super cool, but keep in mind that your bird buddy might be camera shy! A talking parrot is certainly a fun trick for your feathered friend to learn. Plus, teaching your parrot new words and tricks is a fun and engaging way to strengthen your bird bond. What resemblance do today’s ethnonationalistic ideologies bear to those which surged during the rise of the Nazis in the Weimar-era? Quite a lot, this documentary shows. Germany’s far-right neo-nazi scene is now bigger than at any time since National Socialism.

History may not repeat itself, but one can still learn from it. The years of the Weimar Republic were scarred by post-war trauma, political extremism, street fighting, hyper-inflation and widespread poverty. But they also saw economic boom, the establishment of a liberal democratic order and a parliamentary party system. Nobody could really imagine that the Nazis would brush aside the achievements of this young democracy just a few years later. But there were signs, warnings even that all was not well.

So how does that resonate today? How do today’s right-wing populist movements and parties achieve their political aims? Which slogans, images and stereotypes played a role then, and which ones are playing a role now?

The film also looks beyond Germany’s borders. How has Europe changed in the last few years and how have far-right movements been able to gain such influence? In the interwar period, democracies across the continent collapsed one after the other like a house of cards. What about today? Riding on the coat-tails of the political party the Alternative for Germany (AfD) the far-right has become a factor in both national and state parliaments, united by nationalist and often racist ideologies directly linked to those of the 1930s. At that time, global economic crisis and mass unemployment drove people straight into the fascists’ arms. So what will happen if crisis strikes now? Are our democracies and their achievements today any more stable than they were in the years before the Second World War?
