WELCOME TO NAMIBIA! The Himba Tribe is one of the most prominent and fascinating tribes of Namibia, known the world over for preserving their unique cultural identity and age-old traditions for living in a low-water ecosystem. During my road trip across Namibia, I took a little detour to go meet the Himba Tribals in an attempt to understand their lifestyle a little better. This is my way of documenting the experience for the purpose of education about a different culture.

WARNING: The Himba ladies are known culturally to have bare exposed chests as part of their attire. While I didn't wish to shock or disrespect my viewers, I do hope they view this video entirely from the perspective of education about a different kind of lifestyle. The dressing sense of the Himba women is in no way a sexual depiction of nudity as it is pretty culturally accepted in their vicinity. Hence I chose to leave the video as it is without blurring any bits. As part of my creator responsibility, I have demonetized this video.

The Nama people of Namibia are one of the world's oldest tribes, with a rich history and culture that stretches back thousands of years. The Nama tribe, has a history dating back 100,000 to 140,000 years. They are a semi-nomadic pastoralist people who have inhabited the southwestern region of Africa for at least 2,000 years, making them one of the oldest ethnic groups on the continent. Their language, Nama, is one of the oldest languages still spoken in southern Africa, and is closely related to the Khoekhoe language spoken by the Herero people. The Nama people have a deep connection to the land and the environment, and have developed a unique way of life that is adapted to the harsh and unforgiving desert landscape of Namibia. They are known for their traditional knowledge of plants and animals, and have developed sophisticated systems of animal husbandry and water management that allow them to survive in this arid region.

The Hadza Tribe or Hadzabe are a remote African Tribe of Hunter-Gatherers in African country of Tanzania. A few months ago, I was lucky to enough to be able to join them on a hunt to baboons. We didn't catch any, so we decided to return to try again. Right before raiding the baboon camp, I took a quiet moment to ask Soloco, the tribe's leader some of life's deepest questions. These were his responses.

In this video we talk to you about Mali, a country located in the heart of West Africa, unique and fascinating for its history and culture. Its past as the center of ancient empires, such as the Ghana Empire and the Mali Empire, has left a great historical and cultural legacy.

Despite its size and the difficulties posed by its desert and semi-desert environment, ethnic groups such as the Bambara, Fulani, Dogon and Tuareg live in Mali.

Desertification is affecting its arid and semi-arid lands, threatening agriculture and the livelihoods of its people. Tensions and conflicts in the north of the country, often linked to ethnic problems and the presence of extremist groups, have led to periods of instability.

🎁 Thanks to Temu for sponsoring this video, download the Temu app https://temu.to/k/b07da857 and search the game code “off9377” (US only) to win free gifts! Anyway, I recently spent a month secretly learning the rare Maasai language and then visited a rural Maasai village in the extremely remote southwest corner of Kenya. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience to surprise these hardcore Maasai warriors by becoming one of the only foreigners ever to speak their language. Thanks to @SeaboltSpeaks for tagging along and helping film. It was quite expensive to make this video so thanks so much to Temu for helping out by sponsoring it, and I’ll be donating much of the proceeds after costs to Amref Health Africa which is headquartered in Kenya and supports the health of rural communities like the Maasai which are facing a very difficult drought in East Africa. Consider donating if you can! And thanks so much to https://www.incrediblekenyaadventures.com/ for helping organize this entire trip, if you want to go to Kenya Francis is your man!!
