The United States of Africa is a proposed name for the concept of a federation of some or all of the 55 sovereign states of Africa.
Former Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi, who was the 2009 Chairperson of the African Union (AU), advanced the idea of a United States of Africa at two regional African summits: in June 2007 in Conakry, Guinea, and again in February 2009 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Gaddafi had previously pushed for the creation of the African Union at a summit in Lomé, Togo, in 2000. Having described the AU as a failure on a number of occasions, Gaddafi asserted that only a true pan-African state can provide stability and wealth to Africa.
African people has always dreamed of a unified continent, but their colonial masters has always intervened in such success. Africa is known to have the world largest resources, just in Congo alone has enough resources more than North America and Europe combined. So why is the leaders whom want change for African continent and unity for the people always ASSASSINATED or EXILED . The Reasons behind NATO Attacks on Libya.

Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef and author Ernest Owens to debate Netflix hiring non-Egyptian actress Adele James to play Cleopatra in a new Netflix show about the Pharaoh Queen.

Bassem is quick to point out the hypocrisy shown by Netflix and Hollywood for trying to defend the 'cultural appropriation' of Egyptian culture whilst constantly defending other groups from the same thing. He adds that they are stealing his culture and that people like Kevin Hart feed into the problem by trying to 'rewrite history' of Egypt with things such as the pyramids and who built them.

Vladimir Putin, especially these days, is widely reviled. To some he’s a war criminal, to others he’s a dictator, and to many he’s simply a very bad man.

But it wasn’t always this way.

We trawled through video footage from 20 years of international summits, speeches and news conferences and discovered a man who once basked in high regard: the one who went fishing and dancing with George W. Bush, who fell into warm embraces with Tony Blair and whose jokes had NATO’s leaders rolling on the floor with laughter.

As the Opinion Video above starkly reveals, Western leaders once considered Vladimir Putin not just an ally, but also, apparently, a friend.

Even if they were simply giving him the benefit of the doubt for political purposes, they were taking a naïve gamble of historic proportions: Be nice to Putin, and maybe he would be nice back.

It’s true that this brand of personal diplomacy scored some significant security victories. Arms control treaties were signed, and Putin allowed U.S. jets to strike the Taliban from bases in Russia’s satellite states.

But as Russian tanks rolled into Georgia in August 2008, Bush learned that his eight-year friendship with the Russian leader had earned him zero leverage over Putin’s territorial ambitions.

While it’s debatable whether Western governments could have foreseen the bloody horizon of Putin’s vision, let’s now be clear about one thing: Personal diplomacy doesn’t work when you need it most.

Labour MP Dennis Skinner has been suspended from Parliament for the day for calling the Prime Minister "dodgy Dave". He was speaking in the Commons after David Cameron went there to defend his own financial affairs in the wake of the so-called Panama Papers scandal. The Commons Speaker John Bercow asked Dennis Skinner to withdraw his use of the term "dodgy" but the MP repeated the word - forcing Mr Bercow to eject him from the Commons.

In a desperate bid to seek a better life in Europe, thousands of refugees and migrants leave the shores of Libya and cross the perilous Mediterranean Sea every month. Over 2,000 people have died making the journey in 2015 alone.

The routes to and journey through Libya are also dangerous, however, and since the fall of Muammar Qaddafi in 2011, the country has struggled to achieve and maintain stability. Porous desert borders, rival fighters, and weak governance have left much of Libya in complete chaos.

With militias controlling large swathes of land, their attentions have turned to the people that cross their territories. The fighters assert they are bringing order to the country as they detain the refugees, yet these people’s lives have become valuable commodities to the militias as they try to solidify their positions in the country.

VICE News secured exclusive access to a camp outside Tripoli, run by a militia that has seized hundreds of migrants. Food is scarce, dehydration and disease is rife, and control comes in the form of whips and warning shots. The militia claims to have the migrants’ interests at heart, but what emerges is a very different story.

In part one of a two-part series, VICE News examines how Libya is struggling with the Mediterranean migrant crisis, where state-run detention centers are overcrowded and violent, and how government immigration controls are outsourced to militias, where they detain migrants en masse.

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi ruled over Libya from 1969 to 2011, and he managed to overthrow the Libyan King. He would oversee a regime which was rather oppressive and would tackle political dissenters and revolutionaries with brutality. He was linked to a number of world-wide terrorist attacks including the Lockerbie Bombing in which a plan exploded over a Scottish village. But Gaddafi would later fall from grace in a shocking and brutal overthrow that resulted in his execution. In 2011 there was a huge amount of protests in Libya against him, and then armed resistance fought against Gaddafi loyalists. The protesters took large amounts of territory, and then Gaddafi went on the run.

He was on a convoy that was attacked by NATO missiles, and then as he was trying to flee he was injured by either a grenade or by enemy fire. But then Gaddafi was captured and the events of his death are rather debated, but he sustained gunshot wounds during this and it's believed he was executed by the militants. There was not an execution order issued for him, however his death was incredibly brutal and after his remains were placed on public display.

Join us today as we look at, 'The BRUTAL Execution Of Colonel Gaddafi - The Dictator Of Libya.'
