More than half the population of Mozambique's run down capita Maputo live in poverty, despite the country being one of the world's new energy hotspots. Huge reserves of natural gas have been discovered off the coast, part of an enormous block experts say is twice the size of Saudi Arabia's. Investors are already pouring in, a $1bn redevelopment of the waterfront is planned and there could be many more benefits if the government can keep up. But the government lacks infrastructure and skilled Mozambicans. At the moment the only existing gas plant is run by the South African company Sasol. Although the vast majority of the gas will be exported, some believe that Africa's resources should stay in Africa. Al Jazeera's Tania Page reports from Maputo.

This is a thrilling narrative documentary video which highlights the Nationwide Sensitization Campaign on Kidnapping, Teenage Pregnancy and Tramadol Abuse, a project by the Human Rights Reporters Ghana (HRRG) which has significantly impacted lives, and continues as well as contributing towards the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) equally known as the Global Goals in Ghana and beyond.

The initiative dubbed the 'KTT PROJECT' is a 3-tier project which comprises the nationwide sensitization on Kidnapping, Teenage Pregnancy and Tramadol Abuse.

The savior project which began during the early part of 2019 throughout to 2020 before the emergence of COVID-19 saw a group of young people made up of journalists, news editors, lawyers and human rights activists engaged in community sensitization covering school children, religious settings and market and public places where over sixty thousand (60,000) Ghanaians were reached within three regions of Ghana (Greater, Volta and Western).

It was at the time when issues of kidnapping was in ascendancy and became topical and kidnappers were wrecking havoc in the country which led to wanton dispearances of most people especially girls, children and women, therefore the NGO embarked on a nationwide sensitization campaign to create awareness on the dangers of kidnapping, tramadol abuse (drug abuse) and teenage pregnancy among others.

The KTT Project is a laudable initiative which vigorously informed the citizenry on the tricks kidnappers use to lure their unsuspecting victims and offered tips on how such attempts can be foiled. The participants were also engaged with education on human rights so they can stand up for themselves and other people's rights.

The Human Rights Reporters Ghana (HRRG) is media advocacy, human rights non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) whose aim is to rid the society of discrimination and advocate for human rights by giving voices to the people in the society particularly women, girls, children, persons living with disabilities and the minority groups who are the most vulnerable.

HRRG seeks to create a society for all without discrimination hence the motto. "Society for All Without Discrimination".
