The first time South Sudan's head of State is assessing the infrustructural development across the country, acquitting himself with the progress of road construction and development in most towns in the area. The main one being the upgrading of greater Bahr El Ghazal road project which he had to travel by road in an executive convoy to see and feel by himself the progress.

A cheese making business in the Alps is the project of Ethiopian entrepreneur, Agitu Ideo Gudeta. Forced to flee Ethiopia, she has built a new life in Italy.

A political activist forced to flee Ethiopia has built a new life for herself in northern Italy, where she’s founded a successful business producing and selling goat’s cheese. The move has helped increase numbers among an increasingly rare breed of the animals, which are allowed to graze on abandoned communal pastures.

Agitu Ideo Gudeta had to leave her homeland eight years ago after getting involved in protests against land grabs by international corporations. Arriving in Europe, the trained sociologist had to start again from scratch - and set out to found a business in the alpine Trento region. At the ‘La Capra Felice’ or ‘The Happy Goat’, she only uses milk from Pezzata Mochena goats, a local indigenous breed whose numbers have declined dramatically in the last few years. Starting with a herd of just 15 goats, Gudeta now has 180, and her firm has attracted media attention at both the national and international levels. Young people from all over the region are flocking to her dairy farm to learn how to make her popular cheese. The documentary tells the story of a brave entrepreneur with a smart approach who has managed to turn her concept into a success story.

After World War II, most of these empires collapsed. This is the story of those collapses. In most places, the end of empire was not orderly, and violence often ensued. While India was a (sort of) shining example of non-violent change, in places like The Congo, Egypt, Rwanda, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, things didn't go smoothly at all. This event aims to raise awareness about everyday challenges at the local level with heatwaves and other extreme weather events like flooding occurring in MENA cities today; identify and showcase the need for physical climate-risk assessments embedded into the planning and design of built assets; discuss how urban infrastructure and transport systems can be designed to be resilient and adapt to extreme weather events and disasters such as through the nexus of the Sharm El Sheikh Adaptation Agenda and Nature Positive Development and other initiatives; showcase solutions in advancing sustainable infrastructure and materials to support urban and transport transitions in the MENA region; showcase real-world, concrete solutions being taken forward on the ground, especially cooling systems (e.g. Cool Up) and energy demand management; how to mitigate the impacts of extreme weather events on transport systems using technology, best practices and Nature-Based Solutions; how to leverage the ecological benefits of nature-based solutions to improve the well-being of urban commuters; and how subnational governments can contribute and support national governments in implementing national policies for an inclusive nature-positive agenda.
