On 22 June 2022 Zambia's Minister of Tourism, Rhodine Sikumba delivered a ministerial statement to Parliament addressing Human Wildlife conflicts in Zambia and the several mitigating measures the government has put in place with partners like COMACO.

We are a team of UNZA students with a common goal to change Zambian history. With preserverance, hard work and knowledge of sciences, we hope to build and launch the first Zambian satellite, through the inspiration we have gathered from the memory and legacy of Edward Mukuka Nkolosso.

ITMI's Johan Leach prepares for a discipleship and church planting training event in Chilombo, Angola by building and creating roads and repairing bridges so that the team coming to lead the training can get to Chilombo.

We would like to thank the High Commission of India to Zambia and the Ministry of External Affairs of India for giving us the opportunity to direct and re-make the Hindu devotional song "Vaishnav Jan Toh".

Published on 25 Jan 2019, “Vaishnav Jan Toh” was written in the 15th century by the poet Narsinh Mehta in the Gujarati language. The poem speaks about the life, ideals and mentality of a Vaishnav Jan (a virtuous, noble human being).

This re-make is part of a worldwide initiative undertaken by the Ministry of External Affairs of India in commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in 2018. Artists from over 150 countries contributed in paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi through his favourite hymn “Vaishnav Jan Toh”.

We had the honour of participating in this commemoration by representing Zambia through the re-making of this hymn.

This video footage is about CITO (Cache In Trash Out) event held in Kasama, Northern Province, Zambia (Africa). The event promoted cleaning of the city by doing treasure-hunting with GPS (named Geocaching). Over 150 school children participated the event where Japanese Overseas Cooperation Volunteers supported the children.

Originally moving to England in 1953 to train as a nurse, Shade Thomas-Fahm changed path and studied fashion at St Martin's School of Art (now Central Saint Martins) in London. She returned home to Lagos in 1960, the year of Nigeria's independence, and quickly established her own boutique, Maison Shade.

Championing Nigerian fabrics and silhouettes, she designed for the cosmopolitan, working woman. Her boutique swiftly became the go-to place for stylish people in Lagos, with diplomats and royalty among her regular customers. A true pioneer, Thomas-Fahm re-imagined traditional Nigerian styles for the modern woman – creating a pre-tied gèlè (headwrap) to make getting dressed easier, and added a zipper to the ìró (wrapper), allowing cosmopolitan women to move around with ease.
