Former Pakistan batsman Ramiz Raja called out Pakistan Cricket Board for not trying out young players and provide enough to test their calibre. Ramiz Raja felt that Pakistan should have travelled with new players to Zimbabwe, who could have learnt something even if they lost. Pakistan had a successful tour against Zimbabwe as they cleaned up the hosts in the Test series 2-0 after winning the T20I series 2-1.

Luke Jongwe took four wickets as Zimbabwe pulled off a surprise 19-run victory over Pakistan Friday in the second Twenty20 international of a three-match series at Harare Sports Club. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss, opted to bowl, and the tourists restricted their hosts to 118-9 with 34-run Tinashe Kamunhukamwe the only batsman to impress. Shoaib Akhtar expressed his views after Pakistan defeat. He said," Vulnerability of middle order badly exposed. Batsmen couldn't tackle slow wicket. Embarrasing defeat. Have to come back stronger in the 3rd match.

#ShoaibAkhtar #Pakistan #BabarAzam

https://yd.freereadpdf.club/?book=0995494606
The three Garima Gospels are the earliest surviving Ethiopian gospel books. They provide glimpses of lost late antique luxury gospel books and art of the fifth to seventh centuries, in the Aksumite kingdom of Ethiopia as well as in the Christian East. As this work shows, their artwork is closely related to Syriac, Armenian, Greek, and Georgian gospel books and to the art of late antique (Coptic) Egypt, Nubia, and Himyar (Yemen). Like most gospel manuscripts, the Garima Gospels contain ornately decorated canon tables which function as concordances of the different versions of the same material in the gospels. Analysis of these tables of numbered parallel passages, devised by Eusebius of Caesarea, contributes significantly to our understanding of the early development of the canonical four gospel collection. The origins and meanings of the decorated frames, portraits of the evangelists, Alexandrian circular pavilion, and unique image of the Jerusalem Temple are elucidated. The Garima texts and decoration demonstrate how a distinctive Christian culture developed in Aksumite Ethiopia, while also belonging to the mainstream late antique Mediterranean world. Lavishly illustrated in colour, this volume presents all of the Garima illuminated pages for the first time and extensive comparative material. It will be an essential resource for those studying late antique art and history, Ethiopia, eastern Christianity, New Testament textual criticism, and illuminated books.
We are currently monitoring the situation in Reunion as Tropical Cyclone Belal sweeps the island

Cyclone Freddy, first spotted and named by a monitoring center in Melbourne on February 6, has since crossed the entire southern Indian Ocean.
On February 20, an intense tropical weather system approached Mauritius, bringing heavy rain and winds with it.
A Class 3 cyclone warning has been issued.
Many businesses and the archipelago's international airport were forced to close.
As of 22:00 local time, the Mauritius meteorological service reported that the cyclone passes about 100 kilometers from the Mauritius islands, and then Réunion.
The islands were spared Freddy's worst hits as the storm remained north of the islands, delivering a glancing blow rather than a direct hit.
The Reunion Island Regional Weather Observatory reported that Freddy is currently speeding across the ocean with an average wind speed of 205 km/h.
Freddy is predicted to remain a formidable cyclone when it reaches Madagascar.
According to the Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System, there is a fear that about 2 million people will be affected by storm surge and flooding.

Burundi's President Pierre Nkurunziza announced in late 2018 he would make Gitega the new capital.
But some critics are wondering in the face of next year's general elections whether the move is political.
Bujumbura, the old capital, is an opposition base.
Others say Burundi cannot afford the relocation cost.

Al Jazeera's Catherine Soi reports from the new capital city.

The ICJ, the UN’s top court, has said Israel must 'take all measures within its its power' to prevent all acts within the scope of the genocide convention in its war on Gaza. In an interim ruling, a large majority of the court’s 17-judge panel voted for urgent measures, with the exception of ordering a ceasefire. Judge Joan Donoghue read out the ruling in a case brought by South Africa, who accused Israel of genocide in its campaign against Hamas in Gaza. The court also ordered an improvement in the humanitarian situation.
