Botswana’s parliament to commence

The parliament of Botswana will finally convene on Wednesday, after two weeks of court battles over standing orders of the house.
The governing Botswana Democratic Party and the Attorney General wanted a vote for the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, as well as endorsement of the vice president to be done through a show of hands, not via secret ballot.
