Burkina Faso, Mali, And Niger Quit ECOWAS Over Suspension

The military regimes in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger have announced their immediate withdrawal from the Economic Community of West African states.
The leaders of the three nations currently facing heavy sanctions from the West African bloc issued a joint statement saying the decision to quit was a sovereign one and it will be done without delay.
TVC news reached out to the ECOWAS authorities and as at the time of filing this report, there has been no confirmation that the west African bloc received the notice of withdrawal.
