It was a beautiful Sunday and a little girl named Alisa, who loved animals and had heard that there were lots of animals at the zoo, decided to go to the zoo to see them. She saved up enough money and got on a bus to go to the zoo. She was looking forward to seeing the animals.

When she arrived at the zoo, the first thing she saw was an elephant.
Alisa realized that elephants have long trunks that can be used to suck water or carry things. She was curious and asked the elephant, "Why is your trunk so long? The elephant replied, "Because I live in a tropical forest and sometimes it is very dry, so I need to use my trunk to help me drink water or stay moist. And my trunk can also be used to defend myself or help my friends". When Alisa heard this, she thought it was very interesting and said, "I see, your nose is really something! I want one too!

Then she went to see the lions. She noticed that the lions had a lot of hair, especially the male lions' manes. She was amused, so she asked the lion, "Why do you have so much hair?" The lion replied, "Because I live in the grasslands of Africa, and sometimes it gets very cold, so I need my hair to keep me warm. And my hair can also be used to show my status or to scare my enemies. When Alisa heard this, she thought it was amazing, so she said, "I see, your fur is really beautiful!" The lion tossed his head proudly.

Then she went to see the tiger, and she realized that the tiger had a lot of stripes on its body. Alisa thought it was very pretty. Alisa had a very pretty aunt who often wore such a dress, and Alisa liked her aunt very much, and she also liked this kind of pattern very much.

Alisa asked the tiger, "Why do you have so many stripes on your body? The tiger replied, "Because I live in the jungle in Asia and sometimes I need to hide myself or hunt for food, so I need to use my stripes to disguise or confuse my opponents. And my stripes can also be used to recognize my companions." When Alisa heard this, she thought it was very impressive and said, "I see, your stripes are really special!"

Finally, there was some time left for her to see the pandas, which were the most popular animals in the zoo and she was looking forward to it.

When Alisa got to the panda, she noticed that the panda's colors were black and white. She thought it was cute and asked the panda, "Why are your colors black and white?" Panda replied, "Because I live in a bamboo forest in China, and sometimes I need to adapt to different light or temperature, so I need to use my color to adjust or balance my body, and I'm just very cute". Alisa laughed at what Panda said and thought it was very cute, so she said, "Yes, you are really cute!

After seeing this, it was almost time for Eliza to go home.
Alisa learned a lot of animal knowledge and anecdotes as she walked along the way. She felt very happy and thanked the animals for their answers. Alisa decided to come back to the zoo next time and become good friends with more animals.
