How To Care For a Lasius Niger Colony | First Two Months Black Garden Ant Care
How to care for a Lasius Niger Colony? A question I get and see a lot. Because I caught myself a Lasius Niger Queen this season I thought it would be a good idea to track the progress and document it. As a beginning antkeeper it can be hard raising a queen. Lasius Niger is a really awesome beginner species and I think very underrated. They can grow to huge sizes, are very active and beautiful ants to look at. The Black Garden ants are also the most easiest ant species to find in the wild. And because they are so adaptable it's easy to take care of them.
