Kenya’s government proposes tax hike as cost of living soars

Kenya's government is tabling a controversial finance bill in parliament ahead of a budget next week.
It wants to increase taxes and introduce a mandatory contribution to create its National Housing Development Fund.
But many people say they are already struggling to make ends meet with the rising cost of living.
