The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has submitted new evidence related to the certificate forgery allegations against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This evidence, obtained from Chicago, has been filed at the Supreme Court of Nigeria in connection with President Tinubu's qualifications for the February 25, 2023 presidential election.
Atiku Abubakar expressed concern over various attempts to distort the facts surrounding President Tinubu's educational qualifications since the deposition regarding the matter emerged in the United States. He emphasized that these efforts are intended to deliberately confuse the public.
The Nigerian Ambassador to South Africa, Mohammad Manta, also criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku Abubakar's claims of certificate forgery against President Tinubu.
