TOURISM IN SAO TOME AND PRINCIPE - DJAZALDE AGUJAR AND TOCHIL NWANERI

It's an idyllic but tiny volcanic group of islands that have produced a beautiful environment off the coast of West Africa. But what do we really know about the democratic nation of Sao Tome and Principe? Well it's in the Gulf of Guinea off the coast of Gabon, it's one of Africa's least-known countries and it's packed with endemic species - apparently the only place in the world with a one-toothed bat. So why are we telling you all this? Well, their prime minister is visiting Nigeria next week.
