YAM PEPPER SOUP FOR NURSING MOTHERS WITH AJUMBAISE (JI MMIRI OKU)
This is popularly eaten in Igbo land during the time of omugwo (the period when a young mother is parmpared and taken care of after giving birth) this food is believed to help cleanse the uterus, pump sufficient breast milk and helps the uterine muscles contrast back
Ajumbaise :it is a very good herb from town in imo state, it helps a nursing mother to drop down the pregnancy weight, it also helps to cleanse the womb of any remaining post natural remains.

1 small tuber of yam
1medium size stock fish
4 dried catfish
Uziza (African or black pepper)
Uda(negros pepper)
Dry pepper
Crayfish
Salt to taste
