A ZANU-PF activist who challenged the legitimacy of Emmerson Mnangagwa’s presidency is in jail. Sybeth Musengezi dragged Mnangagwa to court last year alleging that he illegally grabbed power from Robert Mugabe. Mnangagwa led the bloodless 2017 coup that dethroned Mugabe.
