Mission to Rescue is a Kenyan movie set within along the Kenya- Somali a border , the Kenya Special Operations Forces who are training for their next mission receive word that the Assistant County Comissioner and two others have been abducted by the Al-Shabaab militia. Mission to rescue stems from the story of a French woman who was kidnapped by the Al-shabab. Created in 2019,the idea seeks to highlight the effects of radicalization within the community that aim to curb terrorism.

The Film is starring Melvin Alusa a stage, screen and voice actor with over 16 years experience with performances in over 10 countries. His work on stage include Githaa,, silence is a woman and Alpa beta. On Tv and Film, he has featured in the first grader, The boy who harnessed the wind and the TV series crime and Justice. His on the radio drama Jango Love earned him an Emmy nomination at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Another main cast is Wasarme Res who is a Somalia modeld actor, and voice over artist.His first screen appearance is on the TV drama Anda Kavaa and is currently featuring in the local radio drama Salaam.

The Movie was produced by Kara Voice Wambui and Directed by Gildert Lukalia.

BLANDA SYNOPSIS
Blanda is a realistic look set-in modern-day Nairobi slums trying to reform and reshape the
thinking of the upcoming teenage generation not to succumb to peer pressure of joining
crime to lead a cool life now commonly termed as kuomoka.
Blanda is a sheng word that means mistake and the story features and highlights some of the
major mistakes the youth and the police make trying to seek solutions to a successful life.
The mistakes parents make in their upbringing and parenting, responsibilities they should
focus on to raise a better generation.
Blanda as a story features true events; it follows the rise and fall of mbogi Jombe an
organized crime group run by Slim. their escapades and dealings with the police that lead to
their extinction. Showing them that the drill never changes, crime will always lead to early
grave and success stories always have long stories behind them and short cuts are not a way
to go.
Blanda wants them that are engaged in crime and dirty business to sober up and make
educated moves and decisions. Set up clean business that don’t necessarily connect to
crime. Blanda preaches and prominences on the famous Lucky Dube’s song - crime does not
pay, no matter how well its organized.
We hope and believe that when Blanda steps out there, it will trigger some minds to think
straight, and keep in line the upcoming generation, not to go astray. We trust all the
mistakes that have been highlighted by blanda that touch on sensitive issues like parenting
can be corrected, because the drill never changes
