Protesters in Tunisia say Monday's referendum on constitutional reforms is illegal.
The proposed changes would sideline parliament and remove most checks on the president's power.
Opposition groups say it's a return to autocracy.
If approved, the new constitution would end the hybrid presidential-parliamentary system blamed for the political inflighting that paralysed Tunisia's post-revolution governments.
What kind of political system does the new constitution propose?

Meanwhile, lawyers, judges and some teachers began a two day strike, as the influential UGTT trade union called for a general strike on Friday. The French embassy in Tunis also announced that its schools in the city would be closed on Friday and Saturday.
A growing confrontation between hard-liners and moderates within the ruling party. Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali, a leading member of the Islamist Ennahda party, said in a televised address late on Wednesday that he would form a new non-political administration ahead of fresh elections. He did not say when these elections would take place.

Tunisia's electoral board has slightly revised the turnout to Saturday's parliamentary elections to 11.2 percent from the 8.8% of the electorate initially said to have turned out. Most political parties had boycot the vote, condemning it as a charade aimed at shoring up President Kais said's power grab last year. His critics continue to call for him to step down. FRANCE 24's Carolyn Lamboley explains.

Black migrants in Tunisia are living in fear after the president stirred hostility towards them. His government claims it's all a misunderstanding. But the victims tell a different story.
Tunisia is seeing a surge in racist attacks on people from sub-Saharan Africa after the country's president alleged black migrants were part of an international plot to change the country's demographic makeup.
Many of the migrants arriving in Tunisia come from Ivory Coast, Mali or Senegal. Migration to Tunisia has increased in recent years, as it's considered safer than neighboring Libya. Some move on to Europe, but others end up staying.
Official figures show the country of 12 million is currently home to 21 thousand migrants from Sub-Saharan Africa. Now many are finding they're no longer welcome.
