2. Candy making
You could also venture in candy making and earn out of it. Candy making is one of the most straight-forward ideas.

3. Restaurant business Being in this venture does not mean that you should start an actual restaurant. You could make good use of your cooking skills by preparing food at home and delivering it to the specific places at a fee. This venture is a steal, especially since you get paid for the delivery services as well as the cost of the food.

4. Smoothie making business Just like running a bakery business at home, you could equally make smoothies while at home and sell them at a profit. To diversify your venture, you could offer delivery services. Work from home ideas As a business woman, you could make money without having to leave your house all the time. These are some of the ventures that you could try out

5. Cooking training business If you are good at cooking, you could make money out of training people. This is another idea that perfectly suits stay at home mums.

bONUS POINT

6. Poultry keeping business Poultry keeping is one of the most profitable business. It does not necessarily require any qualification, but the basic knowledge. All you require is a set aside place in your home where you will rear the poultry and when they're mature, you could sell them at a profit.

Bujumbura city Burundi.

Bujumbura, formerly Usumbura, is the largest city and main port of Burundi.
Bujumbura is known for the history of French and Colonial settlements that this city holds. This city has a greater impact of the French culture and you are sure to find the best of French cuisines here. The foods, drinks and the nightlife of the city make up entire Bujumbura.

Bujumbura developed from a small village after becoming a military post in East Africa in 1889. After World War I it was made the administrative center of the Belgian League of Nations mandate of Ruanda-Urundi. The name was changed from Usumbura to Bujumbura when Burundi became independent in 1962. Since independence, Bujumbura has been the scene of frequent fighting between the country's two main ethnic groups, with Hutu militias opposing the Tutsi-dominated Burundi army.

Burundi is a landlocked country found in the African Great Lakes region of East Africa. The country has a population of 12 million people and its capital is Bujumbura. Burundi is bordered by three countries and these include; Rwanda-North, Tanzania-East and Democratic Republic of The Congo-West. There's a lot that can be said about this beautiful East African country and in this video, we share the Top 10 interesting facts about Burundi that you probably didn't know;

1. Beer is a Darling. Beer is an important part of the social culture in Burundi and this is one of the things that complement social interactions amongst Burundians. There's a traditional beer made out of bananas that is hugely consumed across the entire country.

2. Cows are part of the culture. In the Burundian (Kirundi) culture, cows are one of the assets that are treasured most. On the death of a cow in Burundi, the meat is eaten and the horns are planted in the ground near the owner's house of this particular cow and they believe this brings good luck to the family.

3. Olympic Gold. Burundi won its first Olympic Gold medal in 1996 becoming the poorest nation to ever win an Olympic Gold medal. Many thanks to long-distance track and field runner Venuste Niyongabo who the 5000m race

4. First Elections. Another fact that you probably might want to know about this beautiful East African nation is the fact that the first elections in the country took place on Sept. 8, 1961. These were parliamentary elections that were meant to install the first government of the country and this happened as Burundi was preparing for its independence in 1962

5. Rural Nation. The majority of citizens or population in Burundi live in rural villages. The statistics show that 80% of Burundians live in the rural areas which are highly under developed.

6. Official Languages. Kirundi, French and English are the official languages of the country. Burundi is one of those few homogeneous countries on the African continent with at least each and every citizen of the country understanding the Kirundi language.

7. Hilly Country. Another fact that you might want to know is that Burundi is a hilly and mountainous place. Because of this hilly terrain. If you visit the country and you're using the road transport, it might take you a bit longer to move from one point to another.

8. Second-Deepest lake. Burundi is home to the second-Deepest freshwater lake in the world and that's Lake Tanganyika.

9. Brave Nation.

10. Workouts are illegal. Now, this last fact might surprise you. Among the laws that govern the country, there's a total ban on group joggings or workouts. This was instituted in 2014 by the then president, the late Pierre Nkurunziza.

Burundi women
The women in Burundi are some of the most typical African women you will meet-traditional, bold, black, proud, and smart. They are some of the most beautiful women in Africa, and you may find yourself falling in love at first sight. Let’s look at a few reasons why these women are special.
1. Hardworking
Burundian women are literally workhorses. They enjoy working and providing for their families. Sometimes the man of the house may not even be working, but these women will not complain. She will work from dawn to sunset without complaining at all. What is amazing and strange is that she will still allow the man to have his say in the home. This takes us to the next point.
2. Submissive
Whether you consider this a positive or a negative trait depends on your cultural background. Burundi society is very patriarchal and women have been conditioned by the culture to respect and obey their men, sometimes to a fault. I think this may be a cultural barrier that holds back many Burundian women, but one cannot deny that this attribute is a recipe for a very peaceful marriage, at least within the African context. If you manage to get a Burundian wife, rest assured that you will have peace of mind. This is in total contrast to Kenyan women, who like to assert dominance in marriage, to the mental detriment of their men.
3. Majestically beautiful.
A typical Burundian lady is tall, graceful, and has this air of innocence in her looks. She is full-bodied and has the curves in all the right places. She is blessed with a disarming smile and bright, sparkling eyes. If you treat her well, this beauty has a tendency to really blossom to angelic levels. So, make sure you do. She is also beautiful on the inside too, and even the most beautiful one will not allow her beauty to diminish her humility.
4. Resilient
Burundi has experienced numerous natural and man-made disasters, including a long civil war, genocides, devastating soil erosion, and a severe economic downturn. Burundian women have been the major victims of the effects of all this, but guess what? This has not dampened their capacity to love. If you are genuine, a Burundian woman will reciprocate accordingly. The trauma might still be there, but their tenacity is legendary.
As clearly demonstrated, Burundian women are indeed gems and one more reason why Africa should be proud. Thank you for watching. Please make sure you subscribe to Afroartista Films for more educative and engaging African themed minidocumentaries.
