Activists in Africa have begun to fight against the widespread practice of female circumcision. They say the practice is a human rights abuse that destroys a woman's ability to enjoy sex, is sometimes fatal, and frequently leads to lifelong pain and disability. Carolyn Weaver reports on a new documentary that focuses on the fight by African community activists and educators against this age-old practice that is still performed each year on millions of girls.

Radio Erena (“Our Eritrea”), a Tigrinya and Arabic language station broadcasting by satellite to Eritrea, began operating on June 15, 2009, in Paris, five days ahead of World Refugee Day. The result of an initiative by Eritrean journalists based abroad and supported by Reporters Without Borders, the station is offering freely-reported, independent news and information to Eritreans in Eritrea.

Independent of any political organisation or government, Radio Erena is offering news, cultural programmes, music and entertainment. A network of contributors based all over the world is providing the Paris-based staff with Tigrinya and arabic language programmes that are broadcast via NileSat.

Eritreans can tune into Radio Erena on the 11678 Mhz frequency with vertical polarisation (SR 27500, FEC 3/4).

Eritrea has had no free press since September 2001, when the few Asmara-based independent newspapers were closed down and their publishers and editors were arrested as part of a wave of round-ups ordered by President Issaias Afeworki.

Africa’s biggest prison for journalists, Eritrea has for the past two years been ranked last in the Reporters Without Borders index that measures the degree of respect for press freedom in a total of 173 countries.

EURO 2004, the Aliens to EURO 2000’s Alien.

EURO 2000, much like 1979 picture Alien, remains at the forefront of its genre. Whilst Ridley Scott directed a horror masterpiece, several countries converged on the 4-2-3-1 in Belgium and the Netherlands to direct a masterful international football tournament.

Then its successor came along. More garish, more brutish, and shaped entirely differently. Whilst retaining its horror elements, James Cameron’s 1986 stab at the Alien franchise, with Aliens, plays as more of a war movie. Comparatively, football was an altogether different beast when 16 countries converged on Portugal for EURO 2004.

Football was coming to terms with the successes of pragmatists Jose Mourinho and Rafael Benitez, who hoarded the European silverware with a more defensive brand of football.

Just as Porto and Valencia nullified the best club teams Europe had to offer, so there was a force skulking around in the shadows of the international game ready to tear the elitist fabric of football.

It wasn’t the dazzling Czechs, the imperious Dutch, the reigning champions France and it certainly wasn’t the vastly underachieving Germany, Italy, Spain or the golden generation of England that won EURO 2004.

It wasn’t the hosts, either.

No, much like the queen xenomorph rocking up on the spaceship at the end of Aliens, there was a sting at the end. Unlike Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Ripley, however, Portugal was unable to tell their happy Hollywood ending.

But with Otto Rehhagel’s Greece, EURO 2004 got the correct ending to a different tournament.

Mas o fato é que Wish faz uma referência a Shrek, um filme da Dreamworks, um estúdio que é concorrente ferrenho da Disney.

E podemos ver isso na cena do trailer quando o bode está regendo as galinhas no galinheiro.

Essa cena de Wish lembra muito uma cena icônica do primeiro Shrek quando Shrek e Burro tentam entrar no Parque de Lorde Faarquard, mas antes são obrigados a ouvir um número musical bem diferente.

Alguém pode achar isso esquisito, mas tem tudo a ver com a proposta de Wish, pois como é um filme comemorativo dos 100 anos da Disney, o estúdio tenta fazer referencia aos seus vários contos de fadas que ergueram o estúdio.

If your car horn stops working, you can troubleshoot and often repair the problem.

Step 1: Check for sound
Check whether the horn makes any sound. If it does, the electrical circuitry is still working.

Tip
Most vehicles have two horns, which sound at the same time. They are usually mounted to the radiator core support or behind the vehicle's grill.

Step 2: Check horn
Unbolt, clean any corrosion, and reinstall the horn if it does not sound. If the horn still does not work, run a jumper wire to it from the battery. If it still does not work, replace it.

Step 3: Check fuse
Check the fuse that controls the two horns if there is no sound from either one. If the fuse is burned out, replace it. Try the horn again.

Tip
Check your car owner's manual for the location and type of fuse.

Step 4: Check horn button
Check whether there is any debris obstructing the horn button on your steering wheel that may be preventing the horn from sounding.

Step 5: Check wiring
