Mink was born on 4 November[3] in Frankfurt, Germany[4][5] to Punjabi parents[6] who migrated from India to Germany. About her name, Mink says, "It's a very unique name. Mink is an animal that loves water and freedom, and is known for its precious fur."[7] She was raised in Germany.[5] Mink wanted to be a magistrate as a child.[8] She got her education from Germany and completed a bachelor's degree.

Veteran actor Dev Anand introduced Mink to the Indian film industry when she was 13.[9][10] She made her debut in the Indian film industry with Dev Anand's Hindi film Pyaar Ka Tarana,[4] which was released in September 1993. She then appeared in several films like Jung (1996), Saat Rang Ke Sapne (1998), Yamraaj (1998), Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (1999), Ganga Ki Kasam (1999), Maa Kasam (1999), Jwalamukhi (2000), Ajnabee (2001), Zahreela (2001), Pitaah (2002), Chalo Ishq Ladaaye (2002), Raaz(2002),Border Hindustan Ka (2003), and Oops (2003).[11] She also worked in some South Indian films,[12][13] including a Telugu movie, Prematho Raa (2001)[14]

Bro and Sis Productions

In 2006, Mink turned into a producer and started a production house called Bro and Sis Productions with her brother Punnu Brar. She said in an interview, "Be it films, serials or even event management, we are ready. Bro and Sis Productions will be a complete entertainment house."[13] Their first major work was the movie Katputtli, which was released in August 2006, in which Mink played the lead role.[15] The film, however, failed to do any good business.[16] The production company is presently producing an untitled project.[17]

In February 1999, Mink made a special dance appearance for the song Jumbalakka in the Tamil film En Swasa Kaatre.[18] Mink appeared in the music video Lal Garara, from the movie and album Badal, which was released in February 2000.[19] In August 2008, her production company released a music album, Ghonghat Mix, in which she acted in the music video, Mujhko Ranaji Maaf Karna.[11][20][21] This music album was Bro and Sis Productions second major work after the movie Katputtli. Mink said in an interview, "We were so exhausted after making Katputtli that we wanted to make something more enjoyable and easy to do."[22]

Reality television

She participated in a dance reality TV show Dancing Queen for the TV channel Colors.[23] The show went on air in December 2008. In March 2009, she appeared in Sarkaar Ki Duniya, an adventure reality show on Real, from where she was eliminated in the 17th week in June 2009.[citation needed]

In February 2011, she appeared in sports entertainment reality game TV show, Zor Ka Jhatka - Total Wipeout, on Imagine TV which was hosted by Shahrukh Khan. The show was based on the American reality show Wipeout. She told IANS, "I lost six kilos while I was shooting for Zor Ka Jhatka. I got hurt, but I tried my level best to be in the competition".[24] She next participated in a celebrity reality TV show Bigg Boss Season 6, entering the show in October 2012 as a wild card contestant. She said in an interview with PTI, "I am not here for getting a new platform because Bigg Boss is a show which can make somebody popular or destroy their image. I would not like to come out as an aggressive or a crazy person."[17] She was voted out from the Bigg Boss house in December 2012. Talking about her experience in the show, after her exit, she said in an interview with The Times of India, "It was a life time experience, it's a mixture of all good and bad and everything that even don't exits I would say."[25]

In July 2011, a few media reports suggested that Mink has acted in a porn film titled Desert Queen.[26] The posters of the film, featuring Mink, were put up at various locations in Los Angeles. Mink denied having acted in any such project. She said in an interview with The Times of India, "I was shocked. I cried a lot. Though the poster has my photo, I am not in the film. I just want to ask all those who have done this, do they have a proof that it's me?"[27]
In August 2011, a video surfaced where Mink was seen kissing a South African woman in a swimming pool.[28] The video went viral in India. Reacting to the video, Mink admitted that she is a lesbian, however, she later withdrew her statement saying she,

Haoko probably bit Momoko. Momoko becomes furious. She starts chasing him, screaming. Riki and Momoka also join Momoko to chase Haoko. I'm not sure if Toto is assisting Momoko or Haoko. Haoko goes back indoors. The family waits for Haoko to calm down so they can go indoors too. Komomo sniffs Momoko a lot. She follows Momoko. Toto seems to be exhausted, while Sumomo looks drowsy. Welcome to Guinea Bissau. In this small African state drug trafficking is worth 200% of the national income. There is no electricity, hot water, or clinics, but in the drug district there is a BMW on every corner.

Three years ago a boat sank off the coast of Guinea Bissau and hundreds of packets of powder washed up on the beaches. ‘People saw something they thought was flour’, recalls a fisherman. ‘Others thought it was fertilizer for their tomatoes’. In reality the powder was cocaine. It was a sign of the drug epidemic that has swept Guinea Bissau. South American drug barons use the country as a stopover on the route to Europe. The result has been catastrophic. ‘These people have every means to corrupt us’, says Justice Minister Carmelita Pires. Recently police made a massive seizure of cocaine. A few hours later the Attorney General and other officials arrived at the police station demanding the seized cocaine. ‘The drugs were taken to a safe in the Ministry of Finance’, says a journalist, ‘from where they subsequently disappeared’. In the crumbling prison house, we ask the guard if any of the inmates are in for drug offences. He smiles at the question. ‘Given the kind of protection they enjoy, drug traffickers rarely end up in prison’.

4 - The Real Fraud of New Jersey
Reality TV personality Joe Giudice ended his 41-month prison sentence for fraud by being deported to his home country, Italy. Teresa and Joe Giudice rose to fame on ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ and their glamorous lifestyle and extravagant spending alarmed fans and co-stars.

3 - Bollywood Bungled
Bollywood actress Sofia Hayat almost lost her £3 million London home when her boyfriend attempted to sign it over to his ex-wife. Hayat met the scammer after she took a career pivot to become a spiritual healer, and spent 18 months at a nunnery. She left that to pursue her relationship with the man that was 15 years younger than her. It seems like Sofia was trying to find herself.

2 - Welcome to Scam Island
Sammy Kimmence, a former stockbroker and boyfriend to British TV personality Dani Dyer from Love Island, defrauded two senior citizens out of $40,000. Kimmence met 90-year-old Peter Martin and 80-year-old Peter Haynes while working for Equine Global Sports Limited.

Early in her Hollywood career, A-list actress Anne Hathaway dated disgraced businessman and scammer Raffaello Follieri. Hathaway was 21 when she met the then 25-year-old Italian entrepreneur through a mutual friend.

He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanganyika and a Certified Mediator. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya FCPS (K), a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management (FKIM) and Honorary Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences (FAAS). He is the Chairman of Farafina Investment Group in Monrovia, Liberia and Economic Strategic Growth and Development Initiative for Africa based in Nigeria.

He is the immediate former Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya School of Law, a former Secretary of the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission and a former Director of the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC), (Now Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)). He is the Founding Trustee of the African Institute for Leaders and Leadership (AILL) and founding Chairman of the Association of the Citizens Against Corruption (ACAC). 【横山園芸の取り組みと、将来の夢】
親子二代横山園芸（YokoyamaNursery）では父が1960年代より収集をはじめ生産を行ってきました。自分が2001年に父からすべてを受け継ぎ、農園を経営しておりますが、このネリネのことを知れば知るほど、責任と想いが強くなりました。
2010年に南アフリカを訪ねた時に現地の人たちにダイヤモンドリリーの写真を見せても誰も見たことがない、知らないという現状を間のあたりにして、「これはいか現地に戻さなくてはならない」、「現地の人にこの美しさを知ってもらわないといけないと」強く決心しました。

日本の朱鷺のように一度は絶滅に瀕したものでも、国外の協力により現在は環境を整え、立派に日本で育った日本の朱鷺として、日本の心の鳥として立派に羽ばたいています。
それと同じことが僕もしたい！！力のない小さな生産者ですが、強く願っていればいつかは実現すると信じてどんなに赤字経営でも続けてきました。
現在横山園芸で生産方法を根本から見直し、また独自の品種を作るべく新作を創りだしております。古い品種（おそらく野生種により近い）も多く維持しています。というのも、横山園芸が捨ててしまったら世界から消えてしまうという可能性かがあるからです。

ダイヤモンドリリーは開花時期が非常に限られているため、人の目にする機会が少なかったこともあります。日本では11月上旬に開花して花を2，3週間楽しめるだけ。なんとか研究によりその開花時期を延ばしたり、貯蔵により全く違う時期に開花を試みたりもしている。
苦しい時期もありましたが、しぶとく続けていた結果がここ数年、雑誌やメディア、植物園、園芸店の協力により、だいぶ広まってきました。啓蒙活動を行ってきたことが大きく影響を与えているかと思います。
