Es geht hier nicht nur um die Musik des afrikanischen Kontinents, sondern auch um südamerikanische Rhythmen wie Salsa, Jamaikanische Reggae und vieles mehr...
Zu den Konzerten an den mittlerweile drei Festivaltagen kommen Besucher aus der Region, aus dem nahegelegenen Frankreich und der Schweiz, sowie Liebhaber der Musik Afrikas aus ganz Deutschland und Österreich.

Tauchen Sie mit uns hinein in die Welt der Rhythmen und Klänge und erleben Sie die Faszination der Welt Afrikas.

Il veterinario Markus Wenninger ha perso da poco sua moglie e si prende cura da solo dei suoi due figli Jacob e Katta. Egli ha continuato a coltivare il sogno della sua consorte, ovvero di trasferirsi a vivere in una fattoria in Sud Africa. Quando questa possibilità si trasforma in realtà egli la prende al volo, avendo ricevuto la chiamata da una località sud africana dove aveva lavorato anni prima. Una volta sul posto apprende dei danni causati dai bracconieri alla fauna locale e fa conoscenza con la guardiacaccia Ariane, in crisi sentimentale col suo rude e violento uomo...

In this gripping true story, a baby is stolen from a Cape Town hospital and years later a discovery dramatically disrupts the lives of two families, causing them to question everything they thought they knew.

SAFF is a not-for-profit event organised by a group of passionate volunteers with a mandate to showcasing South African talent, culture and diversity. SAFF is a festival with a conscience. The net proceeds from the festival support Education without Borders (EwB).

As an extension of Cinema Rediscovered’s focus on Global South films and conversations around barriers to restoration and restitution, join curatorial collaborators Mosa Mpetha (Black Cinema Project), Darragh Amelia and Jesse Gerard (Ajabu Ajabu) in dialogue. Alongside guests June Givanni (June Givanni Pan African Cinema Archive), Liz Chege (Africa in Motion), Martin Mhando (Dir. Maangamizi - & Zanzibar International Film Festival), they will be discussing the dynamics of ownership that have historically reserved access to classic African cinema.

The event’s aim is to collectively envision alternative approaches to distribution that centre access to African films for marginalised film audiences. Drawing example from informal modes of distribution being conducted by Ajabu Ajabu through the Re-Release of Maangamizi in Tanzania — it will look towards how to legitimise the work of informal film exhibitors and practitioners, imagining the act of preservation along modes of continuous access for global film communities.

A continuation story of how people act differently when they travel overseas & get to land golden opportunities, only to forget their roots........MUST SEE MOVIE...ENJOY
