Tanzania High Commission Abuja-Nigeria, on 31 October 2022, showcased, “Tanzania The Royal Tour Film”, during the18th Akwaaba Africa Travel Market, in Lagos, Nigeria. The event hosted over 500 participants and key stakeholders in the Tourism sector across Africa and MENA Region. Countries like South Africa, UAE (Dubai), Namibia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, Benin etc. were ably represented by their tour operators, travel agents and government entities.

The movie exposed the diverse and unique tour attractions in Tanzania to viewers and is expected to be a catalyst to increase traffic of tourist from the world and in particular West Africa into Tanzania.

Tanzania 🇹🇿 is a beautiful country with the nicest, beautiful people you'll ever meet, extraordinary wild reserves such as the plains of the Serengeti National Park, a safari mecca populated by the “big five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo & rhino) and the Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain. 

The country has great, expansive shorelines,  beautiful turquoise beaches ⛱ that are breath taking.

Udugu na umoja (brotherhood and unity) are the philosophies instilled on Tanzanians by the country’s founding father and first president mwalimu (teacher) Julius Nyerere. This gives one a glimpse of the peaceful, loving character of the people of this great nation.

The official language is SWAHILI, a regional language spoken in at least 6 countries mostly in east and central Africa.
There’s a push to make it the continental African language to help facilitate unity and enhance commerce among African nations.

Your next vacation should be Tanzania. Can’t miss its beautiful culture and peaceful people,  the vast array of tropical beaches and islands, the Serengeti National Park and definitely Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's roof.

Firefighters are beginning a fifth day (yesterday) trying to contain a forest fire in a conservation area on Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak. The dry weather hastened the fire believed to be caused by porters cooking for climbers - the investigation continues.

Wildlife conservationists flock here every year to witness events such as the great wildebeest migration. This wilderness park was named after the Maasai people who are the area's ancestral inhabitants.

This safari travel film shows our family adventure finding multiple prides of lions with their playful lion cub babies, the "Fast Five" group of five Cheetahs hunting together (or "Tano Bora" as they are locally known) with a surprising outcome, a leopard mother and her baby joyfully reuniting after days of separation, and mysterious elephants and zebras in the early morning fog of a sunrise game drive.
