The most beautiful places in Ghana: I have done an interview during the "Africa Entrepreneurship Conference" in London with the former deputy minister of tourism (Ghana) Abla Dzifa Gomeshie who will give you an advice about which places you have to see when you visit Ghana. She will also tell you where you find the most beautiful beaches in Ghana. Other than that GUBA founder Dentaa Amoateng will talk to me about the beautiful side of Ghana (the food !!). Have a great time in Ghana! Enjoy your visit / stay in Ghana !

The Pan African Historical Theater Project now known as PANAFEST is a cultural event held in Ghana every two years for Africans and people of African descent. It was first held in 1992. The idea of this festival is to promote and enhance unity, Pan-Africanism, and the development of the continent of Africa itself. Activities that occur at this festival are performances and work in the areas of theatre, drama, music, and poetry, among other things. Also, there are viewing of the durbar of chiefs, and tours to various places of interest, such as slave castle dungeons.

web: [a]www.migratingculturecrossing.com[/a]

I'm not happy to have to make this video, because for the second time we're having to postpone our big model home showing event. I hate to have to bring you this bad news, but there's no way around it.

If you have been following me for awhile you know that we had originally planned our model home showing event for November 20th. However, the unexpected heavy rains this year completed washed that plan away.

We then changed the date to December 18th, but we're now forced to postpone it and it's got me sick to the stomach. I'm an ex military person and consultant and I pride myself in doing things on time, on budget and on spec. So, this is troublesome for me to say the least.

If you saw my pervious video, then you can see that we are close to being complete, but we're not quite there. Along the way, the person cutting our cabinet doors at the wood mill cut his thumb off. It wasn't on our job, but we still end up helping pay his surgery bill. Although we have most of the items from him, there are still a few items he has not delivered to us.

Then I wasn't happy when I heard the Ghana Police Band and the Somanya Catholic Church Choir performing together. They each sound good alone, but they must perform together and their performance is not there yet. So, we'll have to arrange for them to get more practice time together.

But the major reason we decided not move forward with the December 18th event is because we have invited the president of Ghana to attend. And while he has not committed to attending, the people around him has said his attendance is not possible in December. Furthermore, many people in parliament are addressing the budget conflict and no one is trying to have any meetings or listen to us until the budget has been passed.

Therefore, we decided to just postpone and wait to receive an answer, although that answer could eventually be "no." But I've heard "no" a lot in my life so that will not be a big deal. We believe that it is worth waiting for. I actually give more details about this on my latest video at https://youtu.be/G4Ef8UbS_bI on the Eric McNeal Be FREE Show.

Be sure to visit our website at [a]www.migratingculturecrossing.com[/a] if you want to purchase a home in the largest planned sustainable community on the continent of Africa.

For a limited time you can buy any of our homes for half price if you are willing to purchase upfront and wait 3 years before receiving your completed home.

Follow my journey on Facebook at Eric McNeal and at YouTube.com/ericisfree and watch as we begin developing one of the largest sustainable housing communities in Africa.

If you'd like to see a more detailed recap of my 7 days in Ghana for Detty December, drop me a line in the comments.

I traveled with Katelyn and Adwoa, #klagoestoghana and they showed up and out BAYBE! A time was had. We brunched, we danced, we shopped, we cruised, we swam, we luxuriated (yea that's a word), we cried, we toured, we danced some more, we partied till the sun came out LITERALLY...we fell in love with Ghana!

If this trip has showed me anything it’s that you can’t accept the image of Africa from the view of the lens of the oppressor. There is beauty, opulence, culture, history and luxury on this continent. Come see for yourself and bring a loved one or two.

In 1983, a dark chapter unfolded between Nigeria and Ghana, and it's a tale that still resonates today.
This was triggered by the mass expulsion of Ghanaian illegal immigrants ordered by Nigeria's military head of state.

This incident sparked a chain of events that led to the birth of the "Ghana Must Go" bag. The twists and turns of this story will urge you to keep watching until the very end.

It all started in the 1970s when Nigeria was experiencing an oil boom while Ghana was undergoing political and economic difficulties.

Nigeria, a young and soon-to-be-liberated country with a population of about a hundred million people, discovered oil in 1958.

Shell, Mobil, and Agip were the first companies to set up shops in the country to drill for oil commercially.

Despite the terrible military governments that plagued the nation at that time, the oil money was stable, and hopes were high that Nigeria could flourish.

When oil prices surged worldwide in the 1970s, the economy exploded. The golden era had arrived, and the country had become Africa’s wealthiest, earning it the nickname “The Giant of Africa.”

Nigerian oil wells were producing 2.3 million barrels per day by 1974. The quality of life has improved.

People moved from the countryside to the cities. The immigration was not only from Nigeria but also from other parts of the region.

On the other hand, Ghana, the world’s largest cocoa producer in the 1960s, was experiencing the polar opposite.

This was real pain I felt going back to Ghana’s slave castles...I could feel my ancestors on me... Powerful beyond words that I can explain. I encourage as many of you as possible to go HOME for your ancestors. Their strength is in each of us and we must honor their ultimate sacrifice in all that we do. #TheYearofTheReturn 🎥: @madebycourtney
