It was a surreal experience and a much needed warm break from reality. Ghana is a beautiful coastal country located along the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa and I must add the destination for Christmas each year for returnees and adventure seekers and people who want to reconnect and pay homage to heir ancestors

In Uganda, young women are leaving their homes to try and find jobs as domestic workers, but for some their new lives can lead to mistreatment and abuse.
A charity in Kenya is calling for the introduction of laws to protect domestic workers, who are commonly referred to as ‘housegirls’, to ensure their safety.

Going to Ghana for the New Year was the best thing I ever did! Literally had so much fun. We spent about 2 weeks in Ghana and did so much.
