Then, we will show a warthog and her little ones recorded at night outside Bela Bela, and we show you more videos from around South Africa.

The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
There is a forecast for severe thunderstorms in certain areas, which may result in heavy downpours and localised flooding of roads and low-lying bridges. The affected regions include western parts of KZN, southern parts of Limpopo, extreme north-eastern parts of North-West, extreme eastern parts of the Free State, and the central and northern parts of Gauteng. On Friday, 26 January 2024, South Africa can expect rain and sunshine. Expect drier and warmer conditions in the central and western parts, with fire danger warnings in the Northern Cape, Western Cape, and Eastern Cape. Moderate south-westerly winds and morning fog are expected in the coastal areas. The temperatures will vary greatly, with the north experiencing scorching heat and the south enjoying more moderate conditions. There is a significant risk of fire in the Northern Cape Province, as well as in Laingsburg and Breede Valley of the Western Cape Province.
