Group Travel expert has gone and done it again.
Taking a group of 40 individuals from all parts of Gauteng some even from Limpopo to cross the border and explore the other side. First, we crossed into Botswana than we went to Namibia. The road trip with a luxury party bus was honestly a great idea we did not even notice the long distance.
By the Namibia Desert we did Camel Riding and racing with our quad bikes across the sandy desert, group racing was amazing, the adrenaline was on another level, tour guides were also very helpful to those who were not able to fully operate the bikes.

It is a race against time to provide modern tourism experiences to visitors in Africa as the year winds down.


Advocates say countries must move away from tourism that focuses on heritage and ancient monuments to one that offers incredible experiences to visitors.


General manager for the 3 group @Francis Doku has been rallying tourism promoters at the fifth Africa tourism leadership forum to change the status quo with under two months to Christmas.

The Makgadikgadi Epic is an event organised by Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) in partnership with the Parachute Association of Botswana (PAB) but is hosted by BOTASH in collaboration with Sowa Township Council and Tutume Sub-District Council. The place is Sua Pan, which lies approximately 20 kilometres from Sowa Town’s LAPA Recreational Area in Sowa Town Park

I stayed at the RIU Touareg hotel, and in this week-long trip, I explored the beautiful island, indulged in lots of fun activities, and experienced the true beauty of Cape Verde!

We went horse riding in Sal Rei, cruising on a catamaran, and enjoyed a magical sunset dinner. We seriously spent the week basking in the warm Cape Verdean sun. Let's not forget the unforgettable experience of a sunset dinner, it was so so stunning and we even got to meet the local children along the beach with their pup ‘benny’.

Travel video about destination Cida Velha in The Cape Verde Islands.
The Cape Verde Islands are set within the Atlantic Ocean with an impressive landscape and diverse culture. It was not until 1445 that the fifteen islands of the region were discovered and subsequently became a Portuguese colony. Only nine of the Cabo Verde islands are inhabited and Cidade Velha is where Cabo Verde’s history began. The Nossa Senhora Do Rosario Church is more than five hundred years old and its tiny cemetery provides shelter for the graves of the first Portuguese who landed in the region. Its church bell and richly decorated altar were pillaged by Sir Francis Drake and shipped to England. The tiny buildings of Rua De Banana were reconstructed true to the original, with the help of UNESCO. Low, elongated stone houses covered with straw, line the narrow road that leads up the valley, upstream from the sea. In 1585 the royal pirate attacked with twenty five ships and more than a thousand men. Thus, major defences were subsequently built and from that time, Cidade Velha prepared for any possible future hostilities, a fact of which pirates soon became well aware and thus avoided the island. However, when the slave trade was made illegal and a severe drought hit the region, the heyday of the first capital of Cabo Verde came to a close.
