In this video, we explore a surprising development in West Africa as Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali recently formed NATO, EU, and G20-style alliances. The move has caught many by surprise, and we delve into the potential implications of this new alliance for the region and beyond. Join us as we analyze the reasons behind the formation of these alliances, the challenges they are likely to face, and what it could mean for the political and economic landscape of West Africa. Don't miss out on this fascinating and insightful video, hit the play button now!
Did you know that Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso, the Sahel countries under military juntas, have made a significant decision to establish an African Empire? But what does this truly entail? After witnessing coups in these three countries, many believed that the juntas would crumble under pressure from Western nations. However, things took an unexpected turn. Rather than being isolated and marginalized, these Sahel countries have grown closer than ever before. Their vision includes the creation of an African Empire, characterized by open borders, a confederation, and a military alliance similar to NATO. They aspire to achieve a level of openness akin to the European Union and establish a monetary alliance similar to the G20. So, what are their actual plans, and how will they bring about an African Empire in the Sahel region?
The prime ministers of Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali have expressed their commitment to a shared future through an alliance. This alliance has led these three nations, currently led by juntas, to distance themselves from the larger West African political bloc following their respective coups. However, it must be noted that this statement appears somewhat tentative, as a robust African alliance free from Western influence has yet to be firmly established. Nonetheless, this does not mean that it is an impossibility. Presently, Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso, under the leadership of military juntas, are demonstrating their determination to strengthen their countries instead of enriching Western powers. It is crucial to acknowledge that since 2020, all three neighboring states have been governed by military officers who seized power in coups. This divergence from the rest of the Economic Community of West African States, which calls for a return to democratic rule, serves as an example of how they plan to forge their path forward.
Recently, these countries made resolute statements as civilian leaders. The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso declared, "At this point, we affirm that whether you are from Mali, Niger, or Burkina Faso, we share the same destiny." He emphasized that these three nations are united and moving forward together. This reflects the unwavering position of the military juntas, who are determined to go to great lengths to safeguard their countries' existence and sovereignty. They firmly believe that it is their responsibility to shape their own destiny, signaling their intent to make all policies within the Sahel region rather than behind closed doors controlled by Western powers.
