How to fry Ghana yams to perfection | Ghana yam chips recipe

Fried yams or "bayer3 a y"akyi", as it is called in my part of Ghana is a very common street food found in every corner. It is enjoyed best with some freshly ground pepper (pepper and tomato salsa), some shito and fried fish or tsofi. I served mine with oven fried turkey and it was amazingly delicious. So crispy on the outside but soft and buttery on the inside.
