Hot stone massage therapy is the application of hot stones to the body when you are giving a massage. Typically the stones are basalt stones, which are river rocks, and once you apply the lotion to those stones they turn a nice beautiful black ebony color. Typically the stones are heated in a hot stone warmer, which is somewhat like a crock pot, up to about one hundred and forty five degrees, the lowest temperature that they normally are is one hundred and thirty five degrees, and it depends on the area of the body that your placing the stones, how hot you want them. On the extremities you typically want the stones a little bit cooler than, lets say, on the back or the feet you can handle a little bit more heat. Also, interestingly enough, often times fair skinned people can handle a little less heat that people with a little darker skin, or Mediterranean skin. So it's definitely important to check in with your client and figure out how much heat they like. At the end of the day hot stone massages are a really nice relaxing way for deep tissue to be delivered into the muscles or even lighter pressure, that heat really helps you access those muscles much faster, and it's a lovely, relaxing, therapy.

The British Chamber of Commerce for Morocco hosted a webinar about vocational training in the Moroccan market and How to Approach the Market.

Vocational training is a top priority in Morocco. This webinar helped UK companies/organisations enter the vocational training market in Morocco by raising awareness of existing new opportunities in a discussion with key local players.

Demand for vocational training is high in Morocco and keeps increasing as Morocco became aware of the necessity to improve its competitiveness and positioning worldwide.

There is an important need for training at all levels (initial, continuous and qualifying). Training of trainers is also a key issue in Morocco.

In order to achieve its global objectives in terms of vocational training, the Moroccan government is working closely with several public and private partners such as the National Office for Vocational Training (OFPPT), the Chambers of Commerce, the Business and Professional Associations, private companies and consultants. The government is also supported by several international institutions such as EU, World Bank, ADB and AFD.

This 3 day trip started with us departing early from Marrakech. We went south through the Atlas Mountains at a height of 2260m on the winding Tishka Pass.

Your first stop is the ancient Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. Many films were shot here, (including Game of Thrones), before moving on to Ouarzazate for lunch. We slept in a hotel for the first night in Dades Gorges.

The morning started with visiting Todgha Gorge - and then heading down to the Sahara. Erg Chebbi are the giant sand dunes that surround the Berber town of Merzouga. We went through the desert by camel to the camp and enjoyed an evening of Berber hospitality under the stars of the Sahara.

The problem was that it rained in the desert! The next morning, our camels were wet so sitting on them was unconfortable. Another thing was that the Atlas Mountains was closed due to the rain. We ended up going around the mountain and saw even more of Morocco that we didn't expect. It was a blessing in disguise. We arrived safely to the bright lights of Marrakech in the evening.
