"Libya, Libya, Libya" (Arabic: ليبيا ليبيا ليبيا‎ Lībiyā, Lībiyā, Lībiyā), also known as "Ya Beladi" (English: "O my country!"), is the national anthem of Libya since 2011; it was previously the national anthem from 1955 to 1969. It was composed by Mohammed Abdel Wahab, in 1951, with the lyrics themselves being written by Al Bashir Al Arebi.

"Libya, Libya, Libya" was composed by Mohammed Abdel Wahab in 1951 and was originally the national anthem of the Kingdom of Libya, from its independence in 1951 until 1969 when King Idris I was overthrown by a bloodless coup d'état led by Muammar Gaddafi. The lyrics themselves were written by Al Bashir Al Arebi.

In 1969, Muammar Gaddafi adopted the Egyptian military marching song "Allahu Akbar" as the national anthem of the newly proclaimed Libyan Arab Republic, and later, the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.

In 2011, "Libya, Libya, Libya" was declared as the new national anthem of Libya by the National Transitional Council. "Libya, Libya, Libya" ultimately did become the national anthem of Libya once again, following the Libyan Civil War and the death of Muammar Gaddafi. The verse that glorifies King Idris (shown in italics) has since been discontinued and rewritten to glorify Libyan national hero Omar al-Mukhtar, who spearheaded native Libyan resistance against Italian colonization during the Second Italo-Senussi War.

“Allahu Akbar” - (Allah is the greatest"') is an Pan-Arab patriotic song composed by Abdalla Shams El-Din in 1954 and written by Mahmoud El-Sherif in 1955. It was first used as an Egyptian military marching song during the Suez Crisis in 1956. From 2 March 1977 to 20 October 2011, the song was adopted as its official was the national anthem of Libya under Muammar Gaddafi.

"Allahu Akbar" was adopted as the official national anthem of the Libyan Arab Republic on 1 September 1969, by Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, showing his hopes of uniting the Arab world. "Allahu Akbar" replaced the previous national anthem "Libya, Libya, Libya", which had been used by the Kingdom of Libya since its independence in 1951.

When the Libyan Arab Republic became the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya on 2 March 1977, "Allahu Akbar" remained the national anthem of Libya. However, when Libya and Egypt broke off diplomatic relations following the latter's peace treaty with the State of Israel in 1979, the Egyptian origins of the national anthem were no longer mentioned by official government sources.

When the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya was dissolved on 20 October 2011, following the Libyan Civil War and the death of Muammar Gaddafi, "Libya, Libya, Libya" was once again adopted as the new national anthem of Libya, by the National Transitional Council. Gaddafi loyalists continued to use the anthem.

Twelve hundred migrants including pregnant women and 29 children are stranded there with little food, water or shelter.
All were rounded up in Tunisia and bussed to the border, but Libyan border guards are refusing to let them in.
The foreign ministers of both countries have discussed what they call the ‘irregular migration’.
Human Rights Watch accuses Tunisia of violating international law by ‘collective expulsions’ of black migrants mostly from sub-Saharan Africa.
And says they need immediate humanitarian aid.
