Africa is a second largest continents of the Earth surface with a lot of natural resources and minerals as well as the rich natural biological potential. Africa has a large quantity of Natural Resources, including Diamond, Salt, gold, iron, Cobalt, uranium, copper, bauxite, Silver, petroleum and cocoa beans and also woods and tropical fruits and many more. Recent oil reserves discoveries have increased importance of that commodity on African economies for many centuries. Now Africa has been ranked first in the world in terms of mineral extraction from a variety of Ore both non-ferrous to ferrous metals, diamonds bauxite and gold. All these has attracted to the attention of countries internationally, which have been interested in these minerals. Two of the most profitable minerals exports are
Gold and Diamonds. The continents can produce close to 500 tons of gold a year and it's responsible for a large percentage of the world's diamonds. Natural resources or Commodities are the raw inputs that are used to manufacture and produce all products in the world. These natural resources would include those extracted from the earth and those that have yet to be extracted. These are worth trillions of dollars, but not every country in Africa has the same amount or type of Natural Resources or the same potential, therefore in no particular order here are the top 10 African countries with the most natural resources.
20. Morocco. Morocco is blessed with different types of Mineral Resources which include phosphates, zinc, manganese and iron ore. tungsten, tin, cobalt, titanium, zinc, antimony and Arable land. Morocco's phosphate reserves are believed to account for almost 75% of all the phosphate reserves globally.
19. Ghana. Bauxite, gold, diamonds, silver, ocean, salt, manganese, and ... Ghana is rich in Gold, oxides, diamonds manganese, crude oil silver, and salt and currently won the second largest producer of gold in Africa. Ghana can hold their successes to establishing more gold mines in modern facilities. There are about 90 Enterprises which specialized in gold mining.
18. Equatorial Guinea. Equatorial Guinea's major natural resources are timber, petroleum, and small unexploited deposits of gold, manganese, and uranium. In addition, fishing also makes up a major part of the country's resources.

Economic growth on the African continent is expected to stall in 20 22, as it struggles to pick up momentum amid a slowdown in global economic activity, rising financial risks, high inflation, outbreaks of new coronavirus variants, and increasingly vulnerable debt levels.
Despite these challenges, Africa’s 54 nations include some of the world’s fastest-growing economies and are home to some of the wealthiest countries in the world.
With a GDP of 2.19 trillion US dollars, Africa’s 1.4 billion-person population is one of the most diverse continents on earth endowed with plenty of natural resources, and economic opportunities, and is a big market for consumer products.
The African economy is projected to reach a GDP of 29 trillion US dollars by 20 50, making Africa the second-fastest-growing economy in the world after Asia.
All these impressive numbers do bring a lot of questions to mind, with the biggest of them being: “what are the richest companies in Africa?”
The African economy is a mix of trade, agriculture, and natural resources. All these come together to create an interesting mix of businesses spread across its 54 countries.
As the African economy grows, some African companies have seen their value grow steadily over time, thereby ranking as the most valued in Africa.
Companies that dominate Africa’s business landscape are flourishing, mostly driven by excellent strategy, top management, and well-placed investing.
The most dynamic of them are showing impressive growth, with 400 African companies earning revenues of 1 billion dollars or more, according to McKinsey. Nearly 700 companies report revenues above 500 million dollars.
