La deuxième édition du Ziz Fashion Mauritania Show s’est déroulée samedi 26 Janvier à Terrou-Bi, à Dakar, au Sénégal. Organisé par le designer mauritanien Abdel Aziz Dieng dit Ziz Fashion, cet évènement a donné lieu à une véritable démonstration de force de la riche diversité culturelle mauritanienne.
Lors de cette soirée, l’ambassadeur de la culture mauritanienne, Ziz Fashion, a présenté ses nouvelles collections, qui puisent toute leur inspiration dans la riche diversité culturelle mauritanienne. L’une des collections rend hommage à feue sa grand-mère, Penda Kassé, disparue récemment.
Joignant l’utile à l’agréable, le designer mauritanien Ziz Fashion avait également incrusté au menu de la soirée chants et danse, en faisant venir de Nouakchott Noura Mint Seymali, la Troupe Sbéniyaate de Rosso, Ousmane Gangué, des joueuses de Yéla et une troupe soninké…pour illustrer la belle diversité de la culture mauritanienne.
"Il a transmis de la joie, de la gaité, les couleurs de l’Afrique. C’est ça Ziz Fashion. On a eu de belles collections qui représentent la Mauritanie, le Sénégal, l’Afrique…il nous avait promis de la nouveauté, on en a eu ce soir", témoigne DJ Edouardo.
L’ambassadeur de la culture mauritanienne Abdel Aziz Dieng a vivement remercié les autorités mauritaniennes et sénégalaises qui l’ont soutenu dans la réussite de la deuxième édition du Ziz Fashion Mauritania Show.
Ziz Fashion a une nouvelle fois élevé très haut dans le ciel sénégalais le drapeau de la Mauritanie, avec la deuxième édition du Ziz Fashion Mauritania Show qui a mobilisé du beau monde, reparti séduit par la riche diversité de la culture mauritanienne.

The Berbers are nomads, wandering through the dunes of the Sahara, all over North Africa. Common in Morocco, these nomadic people have a unique way of life. I join Eva Zubeck and we join a berber family for 24 hours.

This is my first encounter with Berbers, and I learned a lot... like how a goatskin is a great place to keep milk cool, and you can cook bread in sand. Yum, crunchy.
