To all you haters out there; this was on In Living Color from the '90's. I know a lot of you "Entitlement Generation" kids were only about 5 years old when this came out, but this is called "parody". This is from a time when people weren't so sensitive and could laugh at themselves. So please take this in jest; it's actually made by black people who have a sense of humor. Have you ever seen "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka"? You haven't? See it. Laugh. Lighten up.

Edit: This is actually NOT from In Living Color, but the radio show "John London and the House Party" on 92.3 KKBT Los Angeles from the 90's (thanks KillingPepperonies). The rest is still true.

The Okavango Delta is one of Botswana’s most iconic Predators In the world. The world’s largest inland delta is a maze of winding waterways lagoons and lakes and is home to abundant and diverse wildlife; all sustained by the cool blue waters of the delta.

Okavango Delta Wildlife
The Okavango Delta supports large concentrations of animals on both a permanent and seasonal basis. Through careful wildlife management it has become perhaps one of the best places to see animals and birds in Africa.
There is a dynamic seasonal shift of animals between the arid region that surrounds the delta and the Okavango Delta itself. During the wet season most large animals move away from the delta to take advantage of the lush grazing that surrounds it. As this grazing begins to die in the winter animals move back to the delta. A myriad of species are found within the delta including African Bush Elephant African Buffalo Hippopotamus Lechwe Topi Blue Wildebeest Giraffe Nile crocodile Lion Cheetah Leopard Brown Hyena Spotted Hyena Greater Kudu Sable Antelope Black Rhinoceros White Rhinoceros Plains Zebra Warthog and Chacma Baboon. Notably the endangered African Wild Dog still survives within the Okavango Delta and exihibits one of the richest pack densities in Africa.
In addition to the large animals the Okavango Delta also supports over 500 species of birds and 85 recorded species of fish including Tigerfish Tilapia and Catfish.

Experience the amazing, wildlife rich Okavango Delta with Wilderness Safari's!

Okavango Delta World Heritage Site.

This delta in north-west Botswana comprises permanent marshlands and seasonally flooded plains. It is one of the very few major interior delta systems that do not flow into a sea or ocean, with a wetland system that is almost intact. One of the unique characteristics of the site is that the annual flooding from the River Okavango occurs during the dry season, with the result that the native plants and animals have synchronized their biological cycles with these seasonal rains and floods. It is an exceptional example of the interaction between climatic, hydrological and biological processes. The Okavango Delta is home to some of the world’s most endangered species of large mammal, such as the cheetah, white rhinoceros, black rhinoceros, African wild dog and lion.

DIRECTOR’S NOTES:

Hey! Antoine Janssens here. Since I was a kid I’ve been fascinated by the wildlife around us. I watch a lot of wildlife documentaries and the beauty that they display still shocks me all the time.

The vision that I have about this sensitive topic is quite simple:
« Look at the beauty of this animal evolving in the wild. We must protect it if we want our children to see it the way we do. »

People protect what they love.

The goal of this movie is to show the beauty of the Okavango Delta and the magnificence of these species living their best life in the wild. And honestly, it's also good to see a place where humans don't have control over it.

I hope this movie will touch you deep in your heart (or just a little bit it’s quite ok 🙂). Let me know what you think in the comments, I’ll be there!

And finally THANK YOU VERY MUCH @Beautifuldestinations for making this possible!
