Although Amanda Bojang knew she had great potential to do great, she had to fight the subliminal negative indoctrination in the UK that said she could not accomplish anything of any significance. But after visiting the Gambia her destiny started to take shape. Today, when she looks at what she has accomplished with her Gambian husband and says she still has to pinch herself.

As we stepped onto the beach of in-front of our hotel, we were caught off-guard by some friendly and talented musicians (we dubbed them "The Gambian Beach Boys"). They wanted to welcome us to The Gambia - "Smiling coast of West Africa".

We were told that this style of music that they're playing is called Mandaig

Hola a todos! Quiero contarles sobre mi increíble experiencia visitando Makasutu en Gambia. Fue una de las aventuras más emocionantes que he tenido en mi vida. Makasutu es un lugar mágico lleno de naturaleza, cultura y gente amable.

Desde el momento en que llegué, me sentí bienvenido por la gente local y el personal del lugar. Me recibieron con música y bailes tradicionales que me hicieron sentir en casa de inmediato. La belleza natural de Makasutu es impresionante, desde los árboles exóticos hasta los arroyos y los humedales, todo lo que vi fue simplemente espectacular.

Además, aprendí mucho sobre la cultura local y las tradiciones de Gambia. Participé en talleres de arte y artesanía, donde aprendí a hacer hermosas cestas y tejidos de tela. También probé la deliciosa comida local, como el arroz con pescado y los plátanos fritos.

En resumen, Makasutu es un lugar mágico que vale la pena visitar si quieres experimentar la belleza natural y cultural de Gambia. No puedo esperar para volver algún día.
